Arsenal and Liverpool draw 1-1 in Anfield thriller

In soccer, 10-man Liverpool conceded in injury-time as they were held a one-all draw by Arsenal in this afternoon’s only game in the Barclays Premier League.

Despite being a man down, the Reds hit the front right after the restart when David N’gog (pr: En-go) scored with a rocket of a shot that beat Manuel Almunia at his near post.

The Gunners finally got an equaliser after a own-goal from Reds keeper, Pepe Reina, who fumbled the ball over the line after it had bounced back into his hands off the post.

The visitors also finished with ten men after Koscielny (pr: Kos-sell-nee) was shown a second yellow card following a handball in the dying seconds.

Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United played-out a one-all draw in the Npower Championship.

And in the Scottish Premier League, Irish internationals Anthony Stokes and Liam Miller were among the goals for Hibs, who grabbed a 3-2 win away to Motherwell.
