Bridge United manager Anton Mannering says it’s difficult to maintain momentum due to the recent lack of games in the local Premier Division.
While Sunday’s opponents Newmarket Celtic have been involved in various competitions, the Sixmilebridge outfit have played just two games since November as they prepare for the all-Clare showdown in the Munster Junior Cup.
The winners will join Avenue United and Sporting Ennistymon in the next round.
Bridge United manager Anton Mannering says the club are putting things together with a view to the future.
Bridge United will be underdogs but Mannering says they have to measure themselves against the better teams.
Kick-off in Sixmilebridge on Sunday is 11am.
