The manager of the Clare Minor Footballers feels a change in the age eligibility for the grade means it will be a different championship in 2018.
A new ruling comes into effect for this seasons campaign where it’s now an under 17 competition whereas traditionally the upper age limit was 18.
Clare open their Munster championship campaign tomorrow evening in Cusack Park against Limerick in a provincial quarter final tie.
