Action resumes in county hurling and football chamspiosnhips.

As the celebrations of Clare’s maiden U21 All Ireland success  continue across the county atttention once more returns to the final group games of the senior county hurling chamspionhip this weekend

There are six games down for decision this Saturday with several teams looking to join sides already safely into the q-finals.

5 sides have already qualified for the latter stages of the competiton and it is expected that  many of last Sunday’s successful U21 side will be lining out for their clubs this weekend.

Meanwhile there is one senior county football game down for decision as well this weekend as Cooraclare and Doonbeg once more meet in Quilty to decide who will play Kilmurray Ibricakne in the last 4 of the competition.

Both sides have already played Kilmurray this season in cup finals with Doonbeg losing the O Gorman cup and Cooraclare defeating the current county champions in the Cusack cup.

There are no major injury worries on either side ahead of the eagerly awaited clash  this Saturday at 3pm.
