‘Absolute Sense Of Relief’ That Bridge Retained Canon Hamilton – Crowe

Sixmilebridge’s boss says he feels an ‘absolute sense of relief’ after his side retained the Canon Hamilton Cup for the first time in 27 years.

Tim Crowe’s men held off the challenge of O Callaghan’s Mills yesterday to secure their fifth title in eight seasons.

Remarkably, the Bridge won the championship without raising a single green flag throughout the campaign.

They held off a gallant Mills side by 0-20 to 0-12.

Crowe felt respecting their opponents was key to the win.
