There was double Clare success in the 34th Streets of Galway 8K which took place despite on Saturday evening.
Damien Landers from Ennis Track club won the senior males category ahead of Rathfarnham’s Sean Hehir and Kenny Rogers from St. John’s AC.
In a field of 3,000 participants, it was one better than last year for the Ireland international who came second in 2018.

And Rita Kierce from St. Mary’s Athletic Club came first in the women’s over 55 category.
It wsa the fifth victory at the event for the Kilnaboy runner.
