4 changes for Clare hurlers to face Wexford

Clare’s side to face Wexford in the Senior Hurling Relegation play off tomorrow sees 4 personnell changes from the side that was defeated against Galway in the All-Ireland Qualifiers.

Gerry O’Grady and Alan Markham have both been ruled out with injury, Brian O’Connell is suspended while Colin Ryan has been rested ahead of the U-21 Hurling final on Wednesday.

The players to benefit are Conor Cooney, Conor McMahon, Gary O’Connell and Barry Nugent.

The spine of the team is the same. Philip Brennan is in goals, James McInerney is at full back but he now has Conor Cooney and Conor McMahon along side him in the corners.

Pat Donnelan reverts to wing back and captains the side. Brendan Bugler continues at 6 with Gary O’Connell replacing his brother at wing back.

Midfield is Pat Vaughan and Tony Griffin

Tony Carmody, David Barrett and Jonathan Clancy line out along the half forward line.

The inside line is Niall Gilligan, Diarmuid McMahon at full forward and Barry Nugent in the corner.
