3 games down for decision in Senior Hurling Championship

There are several games down for decision in the County Senior Hurling Championship this weekend .

The highlight will be the clash between Saint Josephs/Doora/Barefield and Crusheen with the winners going  through to the knock-out stages.

A total of six teams are in action and first up on Saturday its its Scarrif v Broadford at Cusack Park with a 6.15 pm throw in .A draw will keep Scarriff safe while the losers face the relegation play-offs.

But before that match Smith O Briens take on O Callaghan’s Mills in Scarriff at 5 o’clock .

Sunday sees the highlight of the weekend hurling championship games with Saint Joseph’s /Doora Barefield facing Crusheen – who are seen as the favourites . Throw in time at Cusack  Park is 1.45 with the winners going through to the knock-out stages –

However a draw would also put Saint Joseph’s through but boss Vinny Sheedy says that’s not part of their game plan
