Clonlara have captured the first points in the 2014 Senior Hurling Championship with a 12 point win over Ballyea in their Group 1 clash this afternoon in Sixmilebridge.
2008 champions Clonlara came from four points down at half time to beat the 2013 Senior B winners by 3-22 to 1-16

A first half Gary Brennan goal saw Robbie Hogans side lead by 1-08 to 0-07.
However Kevin Galvins Clonlara side produced three second half goals through Clare Minor Ian Galvin, Senior All Ireland winner John Conlon, and Oisin O'Brien to turn the game on its head and finish it 3-22 to 1-16.
Inagh Kilnamona and Clooney Quin contest the other group 1 game tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 in Cusack Park.
