There's a new voice on morning radio in Co Clare.

Ciara Revins will be waking up the Banner County from Monday 25th of February from 6 to 9am with a mix of music, news, sport, traffic and travel and lots of guaranteed fun.

Ciara makes the move from the Big Weekend on Clare FM where in her own words she's 'been having a whale of a time' for the past 6 months. Ciara is a graduate of the London College of Communications where she studied journalism. Prior to coming to Clare FM, Ciara was head of news in Spin SW for five years. So she’s no stranger to early starts and even plans to beat the alarm clock.

Ciara’s energy and passion for radio is infectious. Hearing people's stories and being part of listeners mornings are the two things Ciara is most excited about as she takes on her new role.

Ciara says "I am genuinely excited about waking up the Banner County, there are not a lot of women broadcasters who get the opportunity to present such a big show, so I’m a little nervous. I’ve been part of the team here for the last seven months and it has been a great experience, I want Clare FM's new breakfast show to be fun, informative and lively. It'll set you up for the day and leave you with a smile on your face, I want it to be more interactive so, I plan to be out and about around the County with my microphone where I’ll be talking with our Listeners and having some fun”.
