Who's John Cooke?

John hails from a place called Carracastle, near Ballaghaderreeen in County Roscommon and moved to the Banner County in 2004 to join the staff of Clare.FM.

A graduate of the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, John holds a B.A. Honours Degree in English and Geography. He later studied Radio and Television Production at the Kairos Communications Institute, before embarking on a career in Radio News.

John is Clare.FM's Head of News and Current Affairs, and presents Clare.FM's flagship program "Morning Focus" weekdays between 9 to 11 am.
