Dr Susan Crawford who hails from West Clare is a leading authority on the topic of autism.
Dr Crawford of UCC is one of the keynote speakers at a conference at the university this weekend on exploring autism from movement, health and well being perspectives.
This event will address the importance of fundamental movement skills, health related issues common to children and adults on the spectrum and the skills and practices necessary to meaningfully maintain self-care and well being.

The conference will provide much needed expertise to parents, educators, practitioners and employees who live and work in the world of autism.
