Opening the second hour was Gary Pepper, chairperson for the Feakle Festival, Julia O’Connor, a musician from Boston and Paul Lowden, a new member of the festival committee from Australia.
The pair gave us all the details on the Feakle Festival. The trad music festival will run from today, Wednesday August 8th to Monday August 10th and boasts a varied and engaging programme that includes workshops, master-classes and performances from festival favorites like Martin Hayes, Denis Cahill, flautist Emer Mayock and poet Rita Ann Higgins.
