Tourism Boost For East Clare From Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands

A new tourism brand which has been developed by Fáilte Ireland is looking to drive more visitors to East Clare.

The River Shannon is at the focal point of what’s been billed as ‘Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands’. The new brand covers the east of this county, as well as Leitrim, Roscommon, east Galway, north Tipperary, Offaly, Westmeath, Longford and Cavan.

Fáilte Ireland says they’ll work closely with Waterways Ireland to encourage tourism both on and off the river, and in towns surrounding it.
