St Patrick’s Day Parades Cancelled – How Will We Celebrate?

News broke yesterday that Dublin had cancelled their parade for St. Patrick’s Day for the second year in a row.

Others followed suit – including here in Clare as the Ennis parade has been called off.

The national holiday was a milestone marking the first lockdown back in 2020 and many had hoped it would be one of the first events to return in 2021.

Clare County Council have confirmed that Ennis Municipal District are organising a virtual online event for Clare instead and they will be announcing details of the event soon.
