Based in London but raised on a farm in Wicklow, Phil Cosby’s songwriting has led him to work with an array of world-class musicians. Having teamed up with studio legend Phill Brown (Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley), last summer saw the release of his debut album The Deal; contributors include Mercury Prize nominee Jon Hopkins.
Having since returned to the studio for a new album allied with both Phill Brown and Malcolm Catto (winner of this year's John Peel prize at the Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards); this summer sees the release of Blue Daze, Phil's most exciting project to date. This August, Phil Cosby & The Holler are to hit the shores of Ireland for a tour culminating at Electric Picnic festival.
