A new report from Retail Ireland has revealed that Christmas 2017 saw the highest ever level of online shopping for the season.
Up to 70% of online sales are to companies outside of Ireland.
Retail Ireland has warned that large commercial days like Black Friday are sucking sales out of the country in favour of the UK and other international companies.
