According to one addiction counsellor, there has be a significant rise in the amount of people who are gambling online.
Michael Guerin is a senior addiction counsellor at Cuan Mhuire in Bruree, and he has noted that while it’s always been an issue for young men, that more women are now getting into financial difficulty after getting hooked on gambling websites or apps.
