New Intervention Model to Prevent Child Involvement In Crime

A University of Limerick Study has established evidence that the deliberate involvement of children in criminal networks. Yesterday at UL, leading researchers met with government representatives from the Department of Justice and Equality and Garda representatives to work on an intervention model that can be used to reduce incidences of children’s involvement in gangs and organised crime in Ireland. Dr Sean Redmond of UL School of Law one of the leading researchers for the National Prevalence Study.
