The Move To Protect Ireland’s Rare Droimeann Cattle

They’re one of Ireland’s native species but chances are, you wouldn’t realise if you were looking at a Droimeann cow. 

The black and white speckled cattle are a native species and they have only recently been recognised as such by the Department of Agriculture.

It has proven to be a landmark moment for the Droimeann Cattle Society, a group which has worked tirelessly for their recognition for years.
