One of Ireland’s leading visionaries was honoured at Shannon Airport on Monday, on what would have been Dr Brendan O’Regan’s 100th birthday. The sixmilebridge native was one of the country’s greatest ever economic and social innovators. He was to the fore in developments at Shannon Airport, the Shannon Free Zone, Bunratty Castle, Duty Free shopping and more.
