Minding Your ‘Microbiome’

You may have never heard of it, but your ‘microbiome’ is said to be one of the most important aspects of your physical (and mental) health.

In simple terms, the microbiome is the diverse system of micro-organisms, most of which live in your gut.

According to new research, microbes communicate directly with our brain and play a key role in tackling depression, stress, anxiety and other mental health complaints.
