Saturday marked World Mental Health Day. Less than 24 hours later, the Mental Health Commission wrote to the Government, advising them to urgently implement a ‘National Mental Health Promotion and Support Plan’. The plan, outlined in the ‘Sharing the Vision’ document, aims to support individuals and at-risk groups who may be in need of intervention during the pandemic. More and more of us find ourselves struggling as a result of the pandemic, particularly as the situation seems to be worsening. But, what can we do to protect and preserve our mental wellbeing?
