25 years after the closure of the Mars Cinema in Kilrush, a special event is being held to remember the picture house that entertained hoards of movie fanatics, including Dr Harvey O’Brien who now is a lecturer in Film Studies at UCD, who spoke to Gavin about the event and the legacy of the cinema.
