Treatment of Clare supporters during the weekend’s Clare v Wexford match has become a hot button issue this week.
As supporters ran onto the pitch to congratulate the team on their win many of them were escorted back off the pitch by stewards and security. Many felt this was unneeded and the word ‘manhandling’ has been used.
