Earlier this week, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar boarded a jet and made his way over to the United States of America.

Yesterday, (15th March), Varadkar met with the US President Donald Trump at the White House.

During their meeting, Varadkar told Trump that he had been against the wind farm that could have negatively impacted Trump’s Doonbeg golf resort.

Deputy Martin Conway and Deputy Timmy Dooley were on Morning Focus today (16th March) and they discussed Leo’s comments.
