Following the announcement of the Budget for 2021 on Tuesday, local cancer patient John Wall tweeted his frustration at that medical card reform for the terminally ill was not included despite it being promised in the government’s programme for government.
In the interim, John has been in contact with the Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly and other TD’s about the issue and is now more confident than ever that it will happen.
On Friday’s Morning Focus, Gavin Grace spoke to John about the latest developments.
