LIT Plans To Promote Space Travel And Life On Mars

LIT is helping the development of plants to support space travel and possibly life on Planet Mars.

LIT is part of the EDEN ISS consortium whose mission is to develop safe food production for on-board the International Space Station and for future space exploration.

Michelle McKeon Bennett, Head of the Department of Applied Sciences at LIT and Dr Tracey Larkin, member of the LIT research team and Principal Investigator of the FooDS@LIT research group, joined Gavin today to talk about their work.
