A ‘Legends of Sports’ event is coming to Treacy’s West County Hotel in Ennis on the 19th of April.
Doors open to the public at 8:30 pm. Inside, people will be met by Syl Farrell, Aiden Fogarty, Marcus Horan, John Leahy, and Clare FM’s very own Derrick Lynch.
These sports stars will give interviews about their careers and talk about their predictions for this years All Ireland hurling finals, the European rugby league and next year’s rugby World Cup.
All funds raised will be going to Cahercalla Hospice and the Clare Crusaders clinc in Barefield.
Tickets are 20 euro and they are available from the two charities, the West County reception and O’Sullivan and Hurley auctioneers.
Gavin welcomed event organiser, Vincent O’Connor and Mary Moloney, fundraising manager at the Cahercalla hospice, into studio and was joined by Cyril Farrell, three time all Ireland winning hurling manager, and Ann Norton, founder of Clare Crusaders on the line.
