The show ended with a spotlight on one particular event this Heritage Week. On August 19th an exhibition will take place to remember Kilrush Ceramics.
Established in 1961 and trading until 1983, the factory is still fondly remembered today for its use of quirky colours and patterns. Retired TDs Brendan Daly and Madeleine Taylor Quinn who fought to save the factory in the 1980s have been invited to attend.
