The resumption of trading at marts here has been welcomed by farming groups.
Normal activity was disallowed last week with the newly announced restrictions, but this ban on trading was overturned yesterday by the Minister for Agriculture.
Services aren’t fully restored – with auctions remaining banned but the sale of calves by appointment between buyer and seller facilitated.
