Fear Of Potential Bank Closures In Three Clare Towns

Bank of Ireland is currently engaged in a review of its operations, and there have been suggestions the process could lead to the closure of some of the bank’s branch network here.

Three Clare branches in Tulla, Kilkee and Miltown Malbay were closed at the beginning of the pandemic last year, but have since moved to reducing opening hours.

On Friday’s Morning Focus, Gavin Grace spoke to Fine Gael Cllr from Bodyke, Joe Cooney and Green Party Cllr from Miltown Malbay, Susan Crawford.
