Ennis Players Present ‘Stolen Child’ At Glór

Ennis Ennis Players are bringing their production of Stolen Child to Glór tonight (April 16) and tomorrow night (April 17th).

The play by Bairbre Ní Chaoimh and Yvonne Quinn, was one of the first plays to cast a light on the plight of the survivors of Ireland’s Industrial schools.

The drama tells the story of a young woman’s journey to find her biological mother.

Bernie Harten a talented and experienced member of the Ennis players plays the role of Peggy, the birth mother at the heart of the search in the play. She joined Gavin live to talk about the show.
