The Daíl has heard that the Medical Assessment Unit at Ennis General Hospital is to be scaled back.
It has been heard that there are plans to shorten the 7-day-service to a 5-day-service.
TD Dr Michael Harty spoke out about this on the Morning Focus show and he also responded to Taoiseach Leo Varadkar’s comments about the issue.
