Since news broke that King Thomond Hotel in Lisdoonvarna will be accommodating asylum seekers, there has been an on-going debate in the region and on Clare FM.

The debate has now extended to the nature of the direct provision system itself, after repeated calls for it to be scrapped or replaced.
Clare PPN’s Sarah Clancy has significant experience with the system and spoke to Gavin about it on the show today. (7th March)
