There’s been mixed opinions as to what the digital age of consent in Ireland should be.

EU countries will be required to set a digital age of consent under new laws due to take effect in May.

Recently, two experts told the Oireachtas Committee that the age of consent should be 16 rather than the government’s proposal of 13.
