Beef talks are back up and running once again today with no end in sight so far to the crisis facing the beef sector.
The Agriculture Minister Michael Creed, Meat Industry Ireland and the major farming organisations are involved, with the talks expected to continue into the wee hours.
For farmers, the issue of price still needs to be discussed – despite this not being on the table in the previous rounds.
They also want retailers to come around the table though, so far, the Minister has ruled that out.
