On September 10th, 1989, Clare FM was officially launched by President Patrick Hillery at The Old Ground Hotel in Ennis.
Thirty years later, Clare FM’s Morning Focus was broadcast live from the Town Hall Restaurant at the Old Ground to mark this milestone in the station’s history, and to remember 30 years of the Banner’s local station.
