Climate change is once again dominating headlines, with the government’s watchdog issuing a new report on the matter.
That report contained one recommendation that has sent ripples across the farming community – the cut the number of suckler cows in Ireland by up to 50% in the next ten years, to meet our greenhouse gas emission goals.

Also on the podcast, in the weekly advice slot from Teagasc, Michael Somers is on hand to talk about an upcoming energy in agriculture event (from 0:47).
