Clare Community Come Together

Today on the show we chatted about community groups which have come together in their communities to help those in need during the Coronavirus outbreak crisis.

We were joined by Fine Gael Cllr Joe Garrihy of Lisdoonvarna and Niamh Wiley, Rural Development Officer for Clare County Council as a large number of community groups have come together to assist older and vulnerable people in North Clare.

We continued this topic as James Lafferty, Irish Red Cross Clare Community Officer, joined us on air to tell us about how the Irish Red Cross are helping their community. The Irish Red Cross Clare in association with Clare GAA Clubs and community groups are working together to support the people of Co. Clare
