Children’s Rights Activists Unimpressed By New Action Plan

Saoirse Brady, Legal and Policy officer for the Children’s Rights Alliance talked about a new Action Plan on Online Safety for Children.

The Children’s Rights Alliance while glad to see proposals to introduce new online criminal offences for things like stalking or revenge porn the Alliance believe the plan is not concrete enough. The Alliance expressed fears that the code of practice was too voluntary and likely to be ignored by mega corporations as a result.
