Calls For Greater Restrictions For Those Travelling Into Ireland

A full cabinet meeting will take place tomorrow where a raft of new Covid-19 travel measures are expected to be signed off on.

Some of the measures being discussed include garda checkpoints at airports and gardaí patrolling the border.

However the introduction of a mandatory quarantine period for all people travelling into the country isn’t likely to be approved.
