With the deadline approaching for the final round of the Burren Programme, farmers in the region are being encouraged to get their applications in.
The programme aims to preserve the unique natural flora and fauna of the region by returning to more traditional farming methods.
While this means increased time and pressure on those farming the landscape, they are financially rewarded for doing so.
