Work To Get Underway On Shannon Town Park

Work is to get underway on the new Shannon Town Park this week.

It’s been a year since a planning application was lodged for the project, which will cost just shy of a million euro and see major redevelopments take place.

Footpaths and a cycle track will be installed, along with an adventure play area, a bandstand and performance area, seating and signage as well as the planting of woodland.
