West Clare Tourism Consultant Urges Further Efforts To Maintain Industry

Separately today, a West Clare tourism consultant is warning that efforts to develop the potential of tourist attractions need to be stepped up to sustain the industry.

It comes as new figures show the Irish tourism industry has recorded it’s best year to date.

Tourism Ireland says over 10.6 million people will have visited the island by the end of 2017, while around 5.8 billion euro was spent by tourists during their time here this year.
