Weekly Social Protection Payments Could Ease Social Isolation – Talty

An Ennistymon postmaster says social isolation in parts of the county could be lessened with the return of weekly social protection payments.

The Department of Social Protection changed payments to every two weeks during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some payments will return on a weekly basis from August 17th, however, with others continuing to be paid fortnightly for now.
