Wynne To Hold Public Meeting In Clonlara As Residents Recover From Flooding Problems

Clare’s Sinn Féin TD is holding a public meeting in Clonlara this evening, to hear from locals about how their flooding has devastated the community once again.

Residents in the Springfield area have been reliving the nightmare of 2009 and 2016, as the River Shannon once again burst its banks and surrounded their homes.

The worst has now passed, with focus already turning to the costly clean-up operation, while residents are now pressing the importance of ensuring a long-term solution is rolled out urgency.
