Coastal Flooding Possible In Clare As Yellow Wind Warning Comes Into Effect

Forecasters are predicting gusts of up to 110 kilometres per hour in Clare today.

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for the county this morning, and is warning of the possibility of coastal flooding, due to a combination of waves, spring tides and surge.

The alert, which remains in place until 6 o’clock this evening, covers 10 other counties, while a status orange alert is in place for Donegal and Mayo.
