Caution Urged On Clare Roads As Yellow Rain Warning Kicks In

Clare County Council is urging caution on the county’s roads this morning, as a yellow weather warning kicks in for heavy rainfall.

The Met Éireann notice is in place until 6 o’clock tomorrow morning, with up to two inches of rain fall expected across the county.

Coastal communities in particular are being urged to be on alert, as the combination of weather conditions and high tides could lead to flooding.

The warning also covers Limerick, Cork, Kerry and Donegal, as well as Connacht, with the bulk of the rain expected during the day.
