Weather Warning In Place For Wind, Snow, Ice And Flooding

A number of low level yellow weather alerts are in place for Clare today as an arctic blast grips the country.

Met Eireann is forecasting high winds of up to 65 kilometres per hour, with severe gusts of up to 90 kilometres.

This combined with high seas poses an increased risk of flooding along the coast between today and Thursday.

There’s also a snow and ice warning in place for the entire country, with Connaught and Ulster expected to get the worst of the weather.
